1. Who we are

FLUXO is a specialty coffee brand operated by CodeAustral LLC, with operations in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. It began with a simple idea: the coffee you make at home can have the same seriousness as a roastery coffee — declared origin, fresh roast and a cup you recognise.

We sell online, shipping throughout Brazil and to the international destinations accepted at checkout. The coffee is roasted in Florianópolis and ships whole bean or ground, in sealed 250 g bags.

2. How we choose coffee

We start with the sheet, not the label. For a lot to join FLUXO, it must have:

• an SCA score of 80 or more;
• declared origin, variety and process;
• a sweet, balanced and clean cup, with no serious defects;
• cupping approval before every roast leaves;
• small-batch roasting, 10 kg, and sealed packaging.

Lot 001 is a natural Catuaí Amarelo from Cerrado Mineiro, scoring 84 SCA points. Caramel, doce de leite and nuts, a full body and a long, sweet finish. The full sheet is at Quality and Origin.

3. Who roasts and how

Roasting is carried out in Florianópolis by a partner roastery with more than 10 years of specialty coffee experience. The team includes a specialist with SCA sensory analysis training. The profile is adjusted per lot, considering moisture and harvest, and every roast is cupped before release.

We roast in 10 kg batches, every week. Coffee ships whole bean or ground; if you choose ground, it is ground on the day it ships. The bag is sealed and contains 250 g.

4. Why the virtual cafés

FLUXO also has three cafés to visit in your browser: Florianópolis, Ushuaia and Madrid. They are not physical shops; they are digital places to sit, talk, play chess and have a coffee while you get to know the product. The coffee you buy is real and arrives by post.

5. Transparency

We publish only what we can verify. For Lot 001, we disclose origin, variety, process, score, notes, weight and roast. We do not disclose farm, altitude or roast profile because that data was not provided in a verifiable way — and we would rather say “we do not have it” than invent it.

We also do not display organic, fair trade or equivalent certification seals for this lot. If a future lot has certification, it will be published with number, body and scope. The FLUXO Standard is our internal criterion, not a third-party certification.
