Cookie Policy

We use cookies and local storage to keep the shop working, remember preferences and, with your consent, measure how the site is used.

Summary

Strictly necessary cookies keep security, cart, country, currency, language and consent working. Analytics cookies only load if you accept. We currently use no first-party advertising cookies. You can change your choice in “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

1. What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small files stored in your browser when you visit a site. They allow the browser to be recognised, remember choices and keep functions such as the cart and security working. We also use local storage, which works similarly and stores data on your device without automatically sending it to the server.

This policy covers first-party and third-party cookies, as well as similar technologies used on the site, in the shop and in the virtual cafés.

2. How we use cookies

We use cookies and local storage to:

  • keep the cart, session and security working;
  • remember delivery country, currency, language and consent preferences;
  • enable the virtual cafés and online presence to work;
  • measure, in aggregate, how the site is used, when you allow analytics;
  • measure campaigns and show more relevant ads, when you allow marketing and when that technology is active.

We do not use cookies to sell personal data. We also do not use cookies that make automated decisions with legal or significant effects on you.

3. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary: required for the site to work (security, session, cart and consent). They cannot be disabled in the banner.

Analytics and performance: help us understand how the site is used to improve pages and content. They only load with your consent.

Marketing and advertising: allow us to measure campaigns and show more relevant ads. They only load with your consent and when that technology is active.

Functionality: language preferences, videos and other convenience features. Some of these preferences are necessary for the experience to work; you can manage them in the banner.

4. Cookies and storage we use

The table below reflects the current state of the site. Third-party cookies only load on the pages where they are needed (for example, Stripe at checkout).

Marketing: we currently load no first-party advertising pixels. If we activate Google Ads, Meta Ads or TikTok Ads, the corresponding cookies will be added to this table and will only load with marketing consent.

Presence: the site uses an pseudonymous identifier, without a cookie, to show how many people are in the virtual cafés. It is not used for advertising and does not identify you.

5. Third-party cookies

Some third-party services may set cookies or storage when you use the site, especially at checkout. The main ones are:

  • Stripe — payment, authentication and fraud prevention. See Stripe's policy.
  • Cloudflare — security, CDN and bot protection. See Cloudflare's policy.
  • Google Fonts — font loading; it may receive your IP but normally does not set advertising cookies.
  • ViaCEP — address lookup from the postcode; it receives the postcode you enter.
  • CodeHub Analytics (Umami) — aggregate analytics, loaded only with analytics consent.

We do not control cookies set by third parties; please see their policies for more information.

6. Consent and how to withdraw it

On your first visit, we show a banner with Accept all, Manage and Save preferences. You can accept everything or choose what to allow. Your choice is stored for 180 days.

To review or withdraw it, click Cookie preferences in the footer. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out, but it prevents new analytics and marketing loads.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy due to legal, technological or operational changes. The new version and its date will be published on this page. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel.
